On a recent trip up north to the small county of Rutland we visited a beautiful cafe tucked away behind shops and the main square of the town of Oakham, making it feel like a hidden garden away from the world.
It was great for little ones too with lots to see and some little toys and books inside the cafe.
Each individual table was uniquely arranged with pretty flowers and interest all around. We went at the end of the day when it was a little quieter so able to choose the garden shed to have afternoon tea in.
The food was delicious with brilliant service. It was all very clean, particularly considering it was at the end of the day. The staff we're also very helpful, not rushing us out even though they were shutting.
